Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StudioClaw ("the Service"), operated by StudioClaw ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StudioClaw provides managed AI assistant hosting. Each subscriber receives a dedicated, isolated AI assistant powered by large language models (Claude, GPT, etc.) with unlimited usage within their subscription tier. The Service includes a web dashboard, webchat interface, and optional integrations with third-party services.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.
  • All plans include unlimited AI usage — no token caps or surprise charges.
  • A 7-day free trial is available on all plans. You may cancel during the trial period without being charged.
  • After the trial, your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
  • Refund requests within 7 days of the first charge will be honored on a case-by-case basis.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Generate illegal, abusive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to access other users' containers or data
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated compute workloads
  • Circumvent usage limits or security measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts (Google Workspace, GitHub, etc.) to your AI assistant. By connecting these services, you authorize your AI assistant to access and interact with your data on those platforms as directed by you. You are responsible for understanding the permissions you grant and can revoke access at any time.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Your use of connected services is also subject to their respective terms of service.

6. Data & Privacy

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Each user gets a fully isolated container — your data is not shared with other users.
  • We do not read, access, or store the content of your conversations.
  • Connected service credentials are stored only within your container.
  • Upon cancellation, all data is permanently deleted after a 7-day grace period.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. We retain ownership of the StudioClaw platform, branding, and infrastructure. The AI models used (Claude, GPT, etc.) are subject to their respective providers' terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioClaw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your container and associated data will be deleted after a 7-day grace period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
